Your Energy Is Sacred – Reflections from The Seeker Series Masterclass
10 June 2025Reflections from Part 1 of the Series Grounded in Wholeness – Healing the Inner Masculine
Author: Cindy Holmes
In a world increasingly shaped by chaos, speed, and external pressure, the invitation to slow down and reconnect with inner stability feels both radical and necessary. This was the foundation of Part 1 in our “Grounded in Wholeness” series, where we began the journey by exploring the patriarch within.
This was not a conversation about gender or binaries – it was an enquiry into the energies that live within each of us. We explored the Wounded Masculine and the Sacred Masculine as archetypal patterns that manifest physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
We worked with the elements of fire and air – asking how they express through our actions, our thoughts, and our ability to move in the world. Is our fire raging or suppressed? Is our air chaotic or still? Is our doing rooted in worthiness or driven by avoidance?
Participants were guided through visualisations and journaling exercises to engage both the shadow and the light of the inner masculine. We touched into the wounds of control, scarcity, anger, and emotional suppression – but also accessed the gifts of strength, direction, clarity, and protection.
We traced these patterns back through our family trees, honouring both ancestral trauma and ancestral resilience. Healing the fatherline, we acknowledged where the fire of our lineage had burned too wildly, or gone out altogether – and we called in the Sacred Masculine to bring containment, presence, and love.
This wasn’t about fixing. It was about witnessing. It was about holding. It was about remembering what is already whole inside of us.
We opened the evening with this poem — a playful and profound reminder that our healing journey is as much about laughter and lightness as it is about shadow and depth.
What If — A Poem for the Journey
What if I’m not broken, just quirky and bright?
What if my chaos is secretly right?
What if my shadow just wants a stage,
To dance it out and exit the cage?
What if my ancestors wore funky hats,
And whispered, “You’re magic” through soulful chats?
What if my baggage is just vintage flair,
Ready to unpack with laughter and care?
What if I’ve parented my inner brat,
With hot tea, blankets, and a talking cat?
What if I don’t need to fix or perform,
But ride the weird and trust my form?
What if I trip, but it’s part of the glide?
What if my shame just wants to high-five?
What if joy is the wisest voice –
Inviting me to make the silliest choice?
So, what’s your what if, wild and true?
What would shift if you let it through?
No maps, no rules, no rigid score –
Just hearts open wide, and giggles galore.
As we prepare for Part 2 – Healing the Matriarch Within – we carry forward the insights, softness, and power that emerged in Part 1. Wholeness isn’t a destination. It’s a presence. And it begins with choosing to turn inward, to listen, and to love.
We’ll see you next Thursday for the next step of the journey.
With love,
